For two weeks now, I haven't been able to make any beats. I've been going through a serious bout of depression. Things have been rough for me, lately and i've dealt with the loss of my mom, fighting loneliness, disappointment in being able to find a job, the discourse of my family and being unable to really talk to them and the loss of my brother. It's been really, really hard to make it through the past 14 days and i'm still trying to work my way out of it. It really sucks to be down, but I recognize that it won't last forever. So long as there is a tomorrow, there is another chance for things to get better. I managed to make some beats, tonight and in 4 hours, I made this beattape. While the tone of this tape may seem dark and gritty, these songs are personifications of how i'm currently feeling. It's a blessing to be able to express your thoughts when you are feeling down. I don't know how long i'll be like this, but as long as I can make a beat, i'll be okay. I have this, at least...
